As the festive nears, E-commerce courier and delivery aggregator iThink Logistics and India Post have collaborated to boost e-commerce-based deliveries across the country. Both entities have decided to enhance the last-mile delivery capabilities for Direct-To-Consumers (D2C) based startups, as well as, small and medium-sized businesses.

India Postal Services or India Post, on the other hand, is the government-operated postal system in India that is widely distributed postal systems in the world, serving the entire country. India Post provides a variety of postal and financial services such as Mail, Financial, Retail, Money Transfer, Promoting Philately (the collection and study of postage stamps), Express Parcel Post, Business Solutions, and E-commerce services.
The amalgamation has the potential to create economic deliveries even in the remotest part of the country where the logistical infrastructure is either underdeveloped or lacks such services. The logistics company outlined that India Post’s experience and wide-ranging network complement the company’s technical capabilities, dependability, and efficiency, among other features.

According to the company, its online portal can be linked with marketplaces or online stores via Application Programming Interface (APIs) and has a built-in channel that connects with multiple renowned courier partners. As per the official data, iThink Logistics’ penetration rate for the fiscal year 2022-23 in tier 2 and tier 3 cities stood at 21.4 percent and 41.5 percent, respectively.
