The Filmfare Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the Indian film industry, witnessed its 69th edition in 2024. This annual ceremony, organized at GIFT City in Gujarat, brought together the who’s who of Bollywood to celebrate and honor outstanding achievements in Indian cinema.

Actors Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna hosted the 69th Filmfare Awards Curtain Raiser ceremony, during which winners for technical categories, including cinematography, screenplay, costumes and editing, were announced. Lets check the winners’ list.
List of Winners
- The event saw Sam Bahadur winning in three technical categories, including Best Sound Design, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.
- Ganesh Acharya won the Best Choreography Award for his work on the track What Jhumka? from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
- 12th Fail took home the trophy for Best Editing.
- SRK’s Jawan was adjudged the winner of Best Special Effects (visual) and Best Action.
- Animal bagged the honours for Best Background Score by Harshavardhan Rameshwara.
- Best Sound Design Award was shared by Animal and Sam Bahadur.
- Sachin Lovelekar, Divvya Gambhir and Nidhhi Gambhir won the Best Costume Design award for Sam Bahadur
- Avinash Arun Dhaware won the Best Cinematography for Three Of Us
- Spiro Razatos, Anl Arasu, Craig Macrae, Yannick Ben, Kecha Khamphakdee and Sunil Rodrigues won the Best Action Direction for Jawan
