Sumanta Datta Appointed Non-Executive Independent Director ABP News Network
Dear Friends, It gives me great pleasure to welcome Sumanta Datta as the CEO of ABP News Network Pvt Ltd. Sumanta is an industry veteran with over thirty years of experience in leading business operations, marketing and distribution across consumer goods, durables and education industries in large multinationals.
Sumanta has spent a large part of his work life in Coca Cola followed by impactful stints as MD & Cluster Head in Logitech and as MD in Oxford University Press from where he joins us now. He has pursued his schooling from Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai followed by his BA from Franklin and Marshal College, Lancaster, USA and MBA from Rutgers, University of New Jersey, USA. He is a loving husband and an affectionate father to two young boys.
Sumanta comes with a broad international perspective, decades of close engagement with practice and a strong commitment to driving business transformation. He is also a warm, generous and thoughtful mentor whose leadership experience, intimate knowledge of operations and talent for catalysing constructive changes all promises to help our organisation explore new frontiers of sustainable and profitable growth in these challenging times.
