NDTV is hiring for the following roles for their New Delhi office:
Title: Senior Output Editor (English Desk 24X7)
Work experience: 6 – 8 years
Title: Junior Output / Assistant Output Editor (English Desk 24X7)
Work experience: 2 – 3 years
Primary Tasks
1. Copy editing – check scripts for facts, simplicity, focus and language
2. Send the scripts back to the Editor / Correspondent for re-writing
3. Checking all scripts for supers, translations, captions, etc.
4. Preparing packages from Reuters and other feeds, or library footage
5. Assembling rundowns in consultation with the Program Editor
6. Assigning stories to and working with In-house Reporters and producers
7. Ensuring accurate and timely coordination and communication with PCR crew
